About Us

Highland Green Golf Club was built in the early 2000’s as part of the new Highland Green adult resort community in Topsham. The course was designed with help from award-winning golf writer and former Topsham resident Jim Dodson. A true “shot makers” course as Dodson calls it, the 9-hole layout features a Scottish flair as it runs through Highland Green’s expansive natural landscape. The home course to many Highland Green residents and fellow mid-coast Maine golfers, HGGC is also proud to be home to the Mt. Ararat High School Golf Team. The Eagles won back to back state titles in 2018 and 2019, and former Mt. Ararat golfer and current PGA Tour Americas player Caleb Manuel holds the course record at Highland Green Golf Club with a 30 set back during one of his high school rounds there.
